In partnership with Festa (formerly Serving Our Neighbor Ministries) and Upper Arlington Lutheran Church (UALC) at Mill Run, CCF utilizes land generously donated by UALC to serve as a community garden. CCF began this partnership in 2011 and the Garden currently produces over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce every year, beginning in the early spring growing season and extending through early winter.
CCF members and volunteers meet weekly during the growing season on Saturdays and
then on Wednesdays for a Kids Garden Club. Volunteers take breaks for Bible study and prayer and reflection on God’s creation and provision.
Many of the international friends we make through English Conversation Class have connected with the Garden. Much of the fresh, organic produce is donated to Mid-Ohio Food Bank (which
serves seventeen Central Ohio counties) and the rest is made available to area families living in poverty at no cost.
