God calls us to jump into some things that are bigger than an individual could accomplish. The College of
Prayer in the two Congo nations is one of these things. Would you be willing to join the team that God is
using to develop Christian leaders in the heart of Africa?

I will be leading modules of the College of Prayer in Pointe Noire and Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, and
across the river in Kinshasa of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (former Zaire) beginning July 24th until
August 9th. Pastors and Christian leaders will gather in each city for three days of intense training, worship,
reconciliation, rejuvenation, deliverance and recommitment to bringing the blessings of Christ to their cities,
countries and continent.

The potential impact is astounding. Last year the team witnessed a national senator experience marriage
renewal as he and his wife attended a module on husbands and wives learning to pray together. The
sessions were recorded by a television crew and aired on national television. Pastors from different churches
across the capital city dropped their competitive mindset and came together in unity to seek the welfare of
the entire city. Rural pastors were flown in for a time of refreshing and empowerment and given quality
materials to take back to their towns and villages. This year even more people are expected to attend and
there will be even greater country-wide impact.

The enclosed information has answers to a few common questions about the Congo College of Prayer. You
can also go to the links suggested for more information.

Would you consider joining the team and making an investment in developing Christian leaders in the heart
of Africa? Some things are too big to do alone, but together we can follow God and be part of His plan to
change the world!

Thank you for your investment and partnership!

For God’s glory,

Pastor Joel Kangas

P.S. If you are in the Ohio area you are invited to stop by Cornerstone Christian Fellowship on August 17th at
7 pm to hear and see what God has accomplished during the trip.
